Oct. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Columbus, OH, --Stone Equity Group (SEG) in conjunction with the company’s Community Home Ownership Program (CHOP) will be giving away a house to a lucky family as part of “Make a Difference Day” in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, October 24 at 1pm. The house giveaway will take place where the home is located --1678 N. Lexington Avenue, Columbus, OH  43211.  

Interested families can enter the contest by emailing Stone Equity Group at homegiveaway@stoneeg.com or go to Craigslist.com, then go to “Ohio”/ “Columbus”/ “Housing”/”Apts/Housing” and click on “Home Giveaway”.  Participants should enter their contact information (i.e., phone, email, address) and describe their current living situation and why they should be considered for the home giveaway.  Families entered into the contest are encouraged to attend the live announcement on Saturday.

The deadline for entries is Friday, October 23 at 2pm (EDT).  The winner will be picked on Friday, October 23 at 5pm (EDT) and announced by SEG CEO Joshua Host LIVE at the home site on Saturday, October 24 at 1 pm (EDT).  “Our goal at Stone Equity Group is to put families back into homes,” said Host.  “Thousands of families have been displaced by the foreclosure crisis.  This is our opportunity to help a deserving family get back on their feet.”

Founded by USA Weekend Magazine and the Points of Light Institute, “Make a Difference Day” is the largest national day of helping others.
