Oct. 20, 2009 - PRLog -- (Phoenix, AZ) --Photipherals in cooperation with the 377th Air Base Wing, Office of Public Affairs, Kirtland Air Force Base New Mexico on November 4 and 5, 2009, will host a new product demonstration and product roadmap seminar, focusing on the enhanced camera support equipment needs of the military’s combat camera, documentation team, and photo journalist communities. Photographers in the public service and private sector who also grapple with “extreme photography” environments will find this seminar of interest and are invited to attend.

The seminar will introduce a unique group of products that provides technology solutions to such challenges as sensor dust and battery recharging systems for remote locations. The second day will be devoted to a think-tank session on the challenges photographers face and possible technology solutions available or under development.

The primary demonstration will be the unveiling of a new product concept, “Field Deployable Clean Chamber.” Its patent pending design protects the sensor cavity of digital still and video cameras from sensor dust.

New product development disclosures and topics relative to remote or unique photographic applications covered will be:
•   Silent shooting applications
•   Photographing in hostile weather environments
•   Universal Battery Charging (multiple chemistries, multiple platforms)
•   Solar charging, hybrid charging, and voltage control
•   Antifungal/antibacterial solutions for high humidity, high moisture environments

The Multimedia Systems Integration section of the Air Force Public Affairs Agency at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, centrally oversees test and evaluation of products for the public affairs and photographic professionals in the United States Air Force. After initial discussions with Photipherals’ products, the section encouraged having this seminar believing Photipherals’ IonosGear1 “lens changing and sensor cleaning case” and product road-map may be of value to all services and the variety of environments within which their photographers must operate.

To register for the seminar, learn more about Photipheral products, or to ask any other questions please go to www.photipherals.com. To gain base access non-military attendees must register by noon MDST on Friday, October 30, 2009.
