Oct. 20, 2009 - PRLog -- Port St Lucie, Florida….The high level of knowledge and professional screening and reporting standards that Chinese Drywall Screening, LLC provides its clients has resulted in an increased demand for tainted drywall screenings and reporting outside of their South Florida home base.  To meet that demand, Howard Ehrsam, President, has created a “Go-Team” of trained “tainted” drywall inspectors who can inspect large building complexes and neighborhoods of homes for the presence of tainted sheetrock nationwide and internationally.  Along with visually inspecting for tainted sheetrock, the “Go-Team” can also sample, bag and tag for purposes of litigation.

Tainted sheetrock, also known as “Chinese” drywall, is generally present in homes built as early as 2001 to 2008.  To date, home and property owners from 30 states across the United States have reported the presence of tainted sheetrock in their properties to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  Although visual identification is relatively easy in homes with damage from the corrosive elements found in heavy off-gassing from tainted sheetrock, more and more subtle and unique cases are being seen requiring experienced screeners to do more intensive searches for evidence of the sheetrock initially causing the damage.

As part of his national expansion plans, Mr. Ehrsam has also announced the promotion of Richard Weyant to Operations Manager, Tim Zorc to Business Development Manager, Investors Relations and Lori Weyant, Administrator and Report Manager.  Karen Scott, Asset Advisors and Managers, continues to assist with seminars, public relations and consulting.

To date Mr. Ehrsam and his team have done over 400 screenings in homes and condominiums, making them one of the most experienced service providers in tainted drywall screening, assessment and reporting in the world.
