By: TNCC - The New Culture Club The Bengal cat brings the wild-exotic look of the Leopard into the living room, making them one of America’s most popular breeds of domestic cats. The Bengal is distinctive from all other cat breeds since each has its own unique arrangement of wild spots and swirls in a camouflaged pattern. In addition to the Bengal, 250 All breed cats, including household pets will be competing for top honors at the 3 day show. Judges from France, Canada, and the United States will be officiating, with continuous judging all day. Spectators will be voting for their favorite cat in show, with cash prizes to the winners. The International Cat Show is a family event, with children under 12 free, and greatly reduced admission fees when bringing 2 cans of human food for the Oregon Food Bank. Parking is free at the Holiday Inn @ Portland Airport Conference Center, 8439 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland. On Safari Bengal's Only Cat Show: Friday - Oct 30th 4pm to 9pm, $2+2 cans of food, $3 without food, children under 12 free. International Allbreed Cat Show: Sat/Sun - Oct 31st/Nov 1st 9am to 5 pm, $3+2 cans of food, $5 without food, children under 12 free. Chapple Hill Cat Sanctuary will have healthy, friendly adoptable cats and kittens at the show. An International Meow-mart of vendors will be at the show - Driftwood cat trees; tasteful & natural Fluffy, washable, comfortable cat beds Teasers & toys for the active and hard-to-please Sparkling t-shirts and potent cat nip Royal Canin USA will be giving away free super-premium cat food samples Last year the International Cat Show collected 15 barrels of food, totaling 3,739 lbs for the Oregon Food Bank, 2 cans of food at a time, because no human should be hungry!
