StudyLance went live in July and already has a committed userbase. Students typically offer to pay a small fee (usually less than £5), the question is then made available to StudyLance tutors who submit an answer. The student sees a preview of the answer and can then choose to accept and release payment. All questions are vetted, so that students’ asking for full essays or other forms of plagiarism never appear on the site. The financial downturn has been a great time for StudyLance tutors, parents not wanting to spend hourly rates for expensive home tutors are realising that StudyLance.com can offer targeted help whenever their child needs it.
