Matchbook Company Appointed Licensing Agency Representing Janie Bryant, Costume Designer of Mad Men
Talent Based Communications and Business Development Consultancy Firm to Manage Licensing, Development and Merchandising of Products Designed by Janie Bryant, award winning costume designer.
Kristi McCormick, principal in Matchbook Company, and Linda Kearns, consultant and marketing director at Matchbook, will lead the Janie Bryant licensing program. McCormick has represented and negotiated talent-based programs with retailers including Joseph Abboud, Bloomingdale’
Matchbook Company will seek guest designer licensed programs in men’s and women’s apparel, lingerie, swimwear, home, footwear and accessories that are developed to reflect Janie’s modern interpretation of 60’s style. This follows the recent launch of Brooks Brothers’ Mad Men Edition suit designed by Janie Bryant. “No one has the ability to interpret an era and bring that style to life like Janie Bryant,” says Kristi McCormick. “Her award winning costume designs for Mad Men and Deadwood speak for themselves. We are thrilled to be working with a person of her talent, creativity and flair for fashion. She has a ready audience waiting for her designs to hit the retail landscape.” In this role, Matchbook Company will work closely with Janie Bryant’s management team at The Geller Agency.
