LitWorks to Host Litigation Project Management Clinic

Oct. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- ATLANTA, GA – LitWorks™, a DTI Company, the first and most comprehensive organization dedicated to developing and sharing best practices in the litigation support industry, is partnering with Baker Robbins & Company to offer a clinic on the topic of litigation and e-discovery project management. The event is being held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the Ravinia Club in Atlanta, GA.

The clinic will provide attendees with a framework for better managing complex litigation cases involving electronic discovery. Not only will participants learn the basic elements of a successful project management framework but also how to apply that framework using real world examples. The litigation project management clinic is for IT professionals supporting corporate legal departments and corporate paralegals, along with litigation support, paralegal, and IT staff within law firms.

Presenting the clinic will be Alice Burns, Manager of Baker Robbins & Company. Ms. Burns is a leading consultant in the area of litigation management and has created an informative and participatory course that teaches legal teams how to apply the principles of project management to litigation cases. Her expertise comes from more than 17 years working in litigation support and discovery management, having worked previously for two AmLaw 100 law firms in paralegal, litigation support and technology positions.
