Spa 7 Cosmetic & Laser Center Announces New medical Director.

Oct. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- After its successful opening in Burke Williams Day Spa - West Hollywood of June this year, Spa 7 Cosmetic & Laser Center continues its reign as the leading Medi + Day Spa marriage with the addition of Dr. Brian M. Kinney as Medical Director.  Dr. Kinney, a skilled plastic surgeon with a special interest in injections, skin treatments, lasers and medical spa services, is undeniably an asset to the growing Spa 7 group.  Since its launch, Spa 7 has provided the most effective medical grade services including laser skin resurfacing, dermal fillers, Botox, peels and hair removal.  Dr. Kinney’s work as a principal investigator with original research to obtain FDA approval on a number of injectables used to smooth wrinkles, plump facial lines and lips and his experience with the latest products will further ensure Spa 7 continues to be one of the leading Medical Spas in California.  

Dr. Kinney earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering after completing the rigorous Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program in Cambridge.  He then attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, and was further trained in general surgery and plastic surgery at UCLA in Los Angeles.  

A past President of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation of the US (PSEF), Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at USC School of Medicine, and a current Board Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Kinney is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of numerous organizations in medicine, science and engineering.   Spa 7 is excited to have a medical director of this caliber and the ability to offer clients the highest standards of care in aesthetic medicine.  

Dr. Kinney has appeared on ABC’s Nightline, Fox’s Extra, CNN, Hard Copy, The Today Show, The Discovery Channel, most of the local Los Angeles television news stations and all of the four major national news networks.  He has been featured on radio and in numerous newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, London Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal.  Journalists from Vogue, Glamour, Allure, Newsweek, Spa Magazine, People Magazine and many others have interviewed him about plastic surgery, cosmetic and beauty treatments.
