Oct. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Let’s face it. We are all struggling in one of the biggest worldwide economic crisis since the great recession. What about our well deserved once a year holiday? Can we really just forget about? Can we really carry on another year without getting a reward?

Holidays have become an essential part of our culture and a sign of a country’s wealth. Holidays can be relaxing, fun, romantic, educational, adventurous, sporty and so on. Holidays have the power of bringing families together, building new and strong relationships, discovering the beauty of natural exotic countries and different cultures. In a word, travelling often represents the best time you can have in your life.
Yes, but they are often very expensive and that’s why most of people, regrettably, have to give up on holidays.
Hence why, it is currently even more important to offer the opportunity for a low budget holiday package.

Italy can be described as one of the most beautiful countries in the world but is well known as being very expensive and therefore not ideal as a cheap holiday destination. The question is, it is actually true that Italy is an expensive place to go? The answer is: it depends.

It is if you choose a luxury five star hotel but it is not if you try thinking laterally and consider a simple holiday home, more authentic and more directly merged with the local area.
There are plenty of websites on the internet offering just amazing luxurious villas or hotels at a very high price.
We basically need an alternative affordable way to spend our holiday time without getting the ridiculous idea of taking a loan just for going on holiday.
Fortunately there are alternative choices and, as usual, internet has been again a great ally in making things easier for all of us.

Firstly, why to pay agencies when I can directly find a wide range of possibilities in the internet? Clearly there is not need to do this and this is the first cost saving point.
ItalyCheap (www.italycheap.co.uk) is one of the most interesting website I would like to mention regarding this topic. There is a direct contact with the landlord and no registration fee or commission fee. You pay directly the landlord according to the prices displayed on the website.
In ItalyCheap there are holiday homes and B&B from every part of Italy, some of them offering very good deals, last minute offers and low prices in view of what is considered the low season (in general from now till may-june)
Italy is too beautiful to right off, do not miss the opportunity of enjoying it!
