“Tour Secrets” by Winkk Book Release Party a Hit
Meet Winkk Saturday, October 3rd in Bronzeville


Chicago, IL- October 1, 2009 – Bronzeville Coffeehouse located at 523 E. 43rd street will host Winkk’s next book signing.  The event is free and guests are invited to come out and meet Winkk. “Tour Secrets” will be available for purchase for $15.

After several months the author known as Winkk was revealed by Relationship Expert and Facebook Fridays founder, Art “Chat Daddy” Sims.  Guests entered a high energy Facebook Friday, with Remy Martin and Ty Ku Premium Liqueur samples flowing, music pumping, video montage playing, dancers wowing onlookers and Winkk party hosts working the crowd all adorned in customized Winkk wardrobe.  

The beautiful Blu 47 restaurant located in Bronzeville was the venue for the complimentary event last Friday.  Winkk arrived to a full house of excited family, curious partygoers and supportive friends—some guests even traveled from London solely to attend the event.  Other noteworthy and celebrity guests included: George Daniels, Mary Datcher, Sharon King (Sharon King Casting), ‘Cold’ from Crucial Conflict, Urban Mix TV, Rolling Out Magazine,  Raw TV and Self Pro Motions. Nicole & Chiara, from Poison Ivy Dance Group performed.

After photos and greeting everyone, Winkk went on stage looking fabulous as ever, and autographed copies of “Tour Secrets” as guests lined up to purchase the highly anticipated novel.  “I’m so excited that so many people were able to come out and celebrate with me.” Winkk commented.  “This is a great party and the book was fabulous!” exclaimed a guest who had purchased and read the novel prior to the event.  “Tour Secrets” is the nonstop page turner that now has the attention of readers from coast to coast and around the world.     The novel navigates readers through a myriad of scenarios main characters Music and Raven encounter in their pursuit of a career as professional dancers. Art “Chat Daddy” Sims conducted the world premier interview with Winkk which was web broadcast live on-line at www.winkkatme.com. During the interview, Winkk shared, “The book was inspired by my experiences on the road, but it is NOT about anyone I have met or worked with.”

Winkk re-entered the limelight making a grand debut as an author.  Having realized her goal of touring the world dancing with Platinum-selling recording artists Avant, R. Kelly, Ronald Isley aka “Mr. Biggs” and others, Winkk also enjoyed working as a model, choreographer and actress. Winkk continues expanding her dreams of taking “Tour Secrets” from novel to the silver screen.
