Poet ANASTASIA CLARK announces the schedule for the “Broward County Poet-In-Residence Anastasia Clark Poetry Reading Series.” Clark will be conducting ten FREE one hour poetry readings at ten libraries throughout Broward County, Florida.
 
Oct. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Poet ANASTASIA CLARK is pleased to announce the schedule for the “Broward County Poet-In-Residence Anastasia Clark Poetry Reading Series.”
Clark will be conducting ten free one hour poetry readings at ten libraries throughout Broward County, Florida.  Funding for this event is provided in part by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward Cultural Council.

The series will begin with a free Opening Reception hosted by Miramar Library on Oct 5, 2009 at 6pm. The poetry reading schedule is:

The readings will be geared for adults and teens. Clark will be reading from a variety of her work- including her books Grieving With Poetry- poems written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs- poetry about women’s issues, Skeletons and Other Complaints- poetry about life’s challenges and Vagabond Pond- poems about feeling lost.  

Clark (Moore) grew up in Framingham, MA, where she served as Poet-In-Residence to the Framingham Public Schools during 1977-78 and taught a ten week poetry seminar to fourth graders. She has served in the U. S. Marine Corps and also completed a Master of Science in Administration. She currently resides in Miramar, FL and has appeared at various schools, art galleries, coffee shops and other venues.

In addition to the full-length titles listed above, Clark is also the author of the POETRY PETALS collection- themed booklets designed for gift and floral baskets. Titles include Friendship Poems, Healing Poems, Humorous Poems, Inspirational Poems, Kaleidoscope Poems, Romantic Poems, Nostalgic Poems and Humorous Poems.
