Tomoye Brings Community and Social Networking Software Enterprise-Wide with Multi-Year Army Contract

Sept. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Ottawa, ON  - Tomoye today announced it has landed a multi-year contract to expand its footprint in the Battle Command Knowledge System (BCKS) of the United States Army. This community currently supports over 150,000 internal users.  The new contract with BCKS will enable the organization to significantly expand the footprint and number of users of this Enterprise 2.0 deployment.

BCKS’ mission is to support the generation, application, management, and exploitation of Army knowledge to foster collaboration among Soldiers and Units.  The goal is to share expertise and experience, facilitate leader development and intuitive decision making; and support the development of organizations and teams. BCKS will be extending its reach of its community built on the Tomoye Platform.
