Sell Cds Online At Chekkout

Sept. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- I set out a couple of years ago to research and develop a home based business which could be used to generate significant cash anytime it was needed. I spent numerous hours using many different tools and techniques, most of which led to dead ends and very little cash. I then spent the next six months developing a specific idea for buying and selling music CD's. The basic idea was simplicity itself. Was it possible to actually buy music CD's at a low enough price and then resell them at a higher price?
I chose music CD's because I have always loved all types of music and there is still a huge market for CD's. People have been attracted to downloadable media but equally as many like the touch and feel of an actual CD. As a product a CD is easy and cheap to ship with minimal postage and packing costs. Ok - so that's the product - but is it possible to make money by buying and selling music CD's?
I did some basic calculations and worked out that I would need to buy CD's at 2/3 of the proposed selling price to make a decent profit. This also takes into account the selling fees and postage and shipping. What this means is that if a CD could be sold for $15 then I would need to be able to buy that particular CD for approximately $10 taking into account typical postage and packing costs. I will use USD for simplicity but this business model works for any currency.
I began to search for appropriate CD's on eBay which seemed to sell well and then searched other CD providers to see if they could be bought for less than 2/3 of the eBay selling price. The trick here was to find suppliers who could supply specific CD's at the right price consistently and reliably. Another area of the business that took some considerable time to understand was how to identify CD's that would sell well. In the end I developed techniques to virtually guarantee a profit.
Once I had developed the techniques then significant profit margins were easily found.
In the first few weeks I cleared over $400 in profit and this has continued since then. The business takes about a couple of hours of my time each day but profits are very easy once you know how.

I've presented some of the tips and techniques that I use to make big profits by buying and selling music CD's. I have to admit that there were a few problems along the way and it took me a little while to work out some of the detail. For example I found that some CD providers were just not able to provide the right prices to enable a decent profit to be made. It took me some time to find the providers that seemed to be able to consistently offer decent prices and were also reliable.
