"Since the age of sixteen, nutrition and exercise have been an important part of my life. Influenced by my older brother and close friends, I started training in my parents’ basement. Shortly thereafter, I realized that this was my path in life, to not only continue to improve my health and well-being but to be able to help other people achieve optimal health and increased self confidence.
By the age of seventeen I attained my first job working at a gym in New York where I grew up. Over the years I’ve worked at various gyms and nutritional stores building my knowledge of nutrition, exercise and how to motivate and inspire others to improve their health. In 2000, I graduated with a BA in Psychology from Dowling College in Long Island, NY and began my personal training career at Bally Total Fitness. My education in Psychology gives me a unique advantage in understanding where clients are coming from, why they think the way they do about health and fitness and how to influence their perception through coaching and information. I have been a Personal Trainer for over nine years and have also served the role as Director of Fitness overseeing the development of workout programs and overall fitness development. I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina and share my life with my beautiful wife Nichole who is also a personal trainer.
