ActiveXperts Software released ActiveXperts Network Monitor version 7.2

Sept. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Today, ActiveXperts Software B.V. released a new version of its network monitoring product: ActiveXperts Network Monitor v.7.2.
Users can now benefit from the PowerShell scripting facilities offered by this new release. The product ships with a powerful set of cooked PowerShell monitoring scripts. Administrators can even write  their own custom PowerShell scripts to perform advanced monitoring tasks.

PowerShell is the next-generation command line scripting solution from Microsoft", said Mr. Pietro Bua, CTO at ActiveXperts Software. "It is an interactive shell environment and a rich scripting engine, and will soon replace VBScript as the de-facto scripting standard for managing Windows environments. Therefore, it was very important to have PowerShell integrated in ActiveXperts Network Monitor."

Also new in v.7.2 are: discovery function to discover computers and devices on the network, the abiility to execute remote commands, a new office 2003 style GUI and a redesigned web interface with an easy to use Wenb Interface Configuration Tool. Furthermore, ActiveXperts Network Monitor 7.2 has many small improvements and feature enhancements.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor runs on the following Operating Systems: Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (all 32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows 2000.
