Sept. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- With hot weather already hitting many parts of Australia Snakes are waking from their winter hibernation, hungry, randy and aggressive. Coupled with the ever spreading developments and the push for the natural bush look in our gardens snake are visiting our yard more regularly then ever.
The Sentinel Electronic Snake Repeller was designed to scare away all kinds of snakes. It does this by emitting a pulsing vibration through the ground, the detect this vibration and interoperate this frequency as being of danger to them and they vacate the area.
The repellers have been tested in Australia, with some of the more common species found, including,
Eastern Brown Snake, Red Bellied Black Snake, Eastern Tiger Snake, Black Tiger Snake, Gwardir (Western Brown snake), Rough Scaled Snake, Spotted Black Snake, Dugites, Coastal Taipans, Copperhead Snake, Common Death Adder, Carpet Python, Green Tree Snake, Brown Tree Snake, Yellow Faced Whip Snake, Small eyed Snake, Keelback Snake and Marsh Snake.
The Sentinel Repeller worked very well with all types giving excellent results.
We have not yet tested on all Australian species, as there are over 140 different types. But we are confident it will work well with all species as we have not yet found a type of snake that it does not work with.  
It is 100% safe and will not affect any other animals, birds or livestock
The repeller are a portable solar powered unit which just needs to buried into a hole about 11” deep and in 3 hrs sunlight per day. The solar panel charges a small battery and the unit works 24/7. They cover 15 metres radius from the repeller.
