CDNetworks Announces New President and Key Additions to US Management Team

Company Refocuses US Operations as Integration with Panther Express Nears Completion

Sept. 23, 2009 - PRLog -- CDNetworks, a top tier, full-service global content delivery network, today announced that John Milburn has been named president of CDNetworks International, which includes operations in the Americas as well as Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA). The company also announced a new vice president of sales, Cameron Lorentz, a new vice president of product management, Raymond Suarez, a new vice president of corporate marketing, Jim Campbell, and the promotion of Ian Van Hoven to Vice President of Operations

Milburn has been president since June of this year and has been a member of CDNetworks’ board of directors since December 2007. Milburn brings over 30 years of Internet development and operations management experience, and has served as an advisor or board member for numerous ISPs, Telcos and technology companies in the US and across the globe.

“I am very excited to lead the company’s efforts in the US, as we increase our presence in this key market,” said John Milburn, president of CDNetworks International.  "With the new additions to our management team, we now have the strong, experienced leadership necessary to expand our business in the US, and fulfill our commitment to deliver world class content delivery solutions to our customers.”.

CDNetworks acquired Panther Express in February 2009 to add enhanced caching capabilities to its full-service content delivery solution, and is on track to complete the integration of the two companies by the end of the year.  To date, coverage has been extended for both CDNetworks’ and Panther Express platforms in the US, Europe, and Asia, and several data centers have been consolidated to further extend redundancy and last mile reach. In addition, all legacy Panther Express customers now have dedicated 24/7/365 live support.

The final step currently underway is to merge the CDNetworks and Panther Express technology into one enhanced platform which will seamlessly transition customers to a more powerful and reliable solution, and migrate all customers to that platform. The new platform will provide greater performance, reliability, and flexibility for all customers and is scheduled for release in Q4 2009.
