Follow on Google News | Lab Armor’s new iceless Chill Bucket replaces traditional ice buckets in the labThe ice bucket, reinvented. No more melted ice, puddles, floating tubes or wet and contaminated samples.
By: Lab Armor, Inc. Until now, all laboratory ice buckets were used the same way, by filling a foam or rubberized bucket with crushed ice. This requires access to ice machines and wet ice, can create significant opportunities for contamination. The new Cool BeansTM Chill Bucket replaces ice with a cooling system comprised of Bath ArmorTM thermal metallic beads and simple ice packs. The new Chill Bucket is cold, dry, naturally holds any size vessel in place, and is shaped to balance in one arm. The durable bucket stays dry and does not sweat — perfect for life in the lab. The Cool Beans Chill Bucket works in a two easy steps. First, the Bath ArmorTM Bead Bag and Chill Packs are cooled in a refrigerator or freezer. Second, the Chill Packs are placed in the bottom of the bucket with the beads on top. The Chill Bucket delivers hours of constant cooling on two ice packs or with a handful of dry ice pellets (adjustable from -20 ºC to 4 ºC). Bath Armor Beads can also be purchased separately for use with existing warm or cold temperature controlled equipment. Lab Armor offers Bath ArmorTM Beads for existing water baths, incubators, and refrigerators, plus Bead BathsTM, WalkaboutTM trays, and StayTempTM trays, so labs can eliminate open sources of water and ice for a more contamination- View a video of the Cool BeansTM Chill Bucket here: http://www.ow.ly/ Take a FREE test drive of the Bath ArmorTM Beads here: http://www.ow.ly/ # # # Lab Armor, Inc. designs and manufactures innovative, eco-friendly and low-maintenance laboratory products that eliminate open sources of water and ice in the lab.
