Sept. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- NG Turf, Inc. made a donation of Meyer Zoysia to the Fish House, home of the local United Methodist Campus Ministry at the University of West Georgia.  “The donation of Meyer Zoysia turf and the special pricing arrangements made it possible for us to complete a project we began last fall,” said W.H. Smith, Board Chair for the Fish House at UWG.

Their project started with dump truck loads of top soil delivered to the Fish House.  They built a retaining wall and planted some flowers.  They decided to plant winter ryegrass to cover the lawn for the winter.  When spring came, it looked like a “barren wasteland.”  The Meyer vastly improved the appearance of the corner lot on Maple Street just across from the main front campus of UWG.

Smith also says that Campus Ministry members are really proud of their turf and he’s sure their neighbors are pleased, too.
