By: esd electronics, Inc USA The VME-PMC-CADDY is a VME64-based board carrying up to two PMC modules of any kind. The board uses the Tundra UNIVERSE CA91C142 PCI bridge with an internal clock rate of 33 MHz that allows it to operate as either a slave or master. In the “master mode”, it supports a 4-level arbiter. It operates with a data width of up to 32 bits and supports 32 address signals on the VMEbus. Seven interrupt request lines are available for the application of the VMEbus interrupt. Two 160-pin VG connectors connect the board to the VMEbus on VME64 extensions according to IEC603-xx. Designed according to IEEE P1386/Draft 2.0 (except for the standard I/O pin routing), both PMC plug-in units allow the use of any PMC modules available in the market. esd electronics, Inc offers software drivers plus sample C source code libraries available for real time operating systems such as VxWorks and OS-9. Drivers for other operating systems are available on request.
