This year we have selected the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA, which was the first “Colored” YWCA in the United States. Their mission is to provide affordable housing and programs to women in transition to prevent homelessness, as well as, provide outreach services to children and the community. It has been in existence since 1905 and is now a place where women of all races, creeds and color can call home while finding jobs and working in the District of Columbia.
Similar events will take place across the nation as Accredited Staging Professionals®
