Sept. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, Calif. – 300 patrons, 100 gorgeous women, and an evening at the Playboy® Mansion combined to raise nearly $60,000 for underprivileged kids in San Diego. The Sexy Under the Sea Party was held on August 23rd at the Hyatt Century Plaza and the Playboy Mansion.

“With the money we raised at the Sexy Under the Sea party, we will be able to provide several amazing opportunities for kids,” says It’s All About the Kids Foundation Co-Founder and Board President Shawn Heyl. " Our ‘Toys From the Heart’ program will have the resources to provide holiday gifts to close to 1000 underprivileged kids this winter.”

Partying for a Purpose, the fundraising arm of It’s All About The Kids, hosts several events throughout the year, with the marquee event being at the Playboy Mansion. “Our annual party at the Playboy Mansion is a huge undertaking,” says Heyl. “The biggest thank you goes to Mr. Hugh Hefner for allowing us to host the Sexy Under the Sea party at his home. The party would not have been the same at another location.”  Heyl extends gratitude to all of the models who helped make the evening memorable, including the Lollipop Girls (who recently appeared in the America’s Got Talent quarterfinals), San Diego's best Go Go and Pole Dancers, the Savvy Dolls, Simple Glam Girls, Mermaids in Motion and many body-painted beauties from Foxxy Roxxy Makeup Artistry and Groom The Salon. The gorgeous hostesses showcased sexy bikinis from Dolce La Vida, Girl On Top and Sexy Couture by Lina.

“While all the girls certainly play a huge role in our festivities, there are many others who made our event possible,” says Heyl. “SKYY Limo provided transportation for all of our guests from the airport, who came from around the country and the globe and Nstyle Limo Busprovided the transportation for our hostess from San Diego to Los Angeles.   KOOL Party Rentals  donated illuminating beds and NU Salt Lasers provided a laser show, both firsts at the Playboy Mansion.”

The soundtrack for the weekend was provided by Scott Roberts, DJ Girard DeMuro, DJ Brent Bartel and DJ Ideal with percussionists Mark Richmond, Mark DeMascole and saxophonist Jason Whitmore.  A VIP party, held at the Xbar at the Hyatt Century Plaza, was made possible by Sidebar San Diego, Dopamine Energy Drink, Coca Cola and 4Copas Tequila.  A video of the weekend is being produced by The Wonderland Experience and a post party is also in the works, and a fanpage has been created on Facebook.

"This was the best production that I have ever done in 15 years of having parties; six of them at the Playboy Mansion,” says Co-Founder and Executive Director, Angela Brannon. “Without a doubt, Mr. Hefner and his girlfriends joining us in their cabana was the highlight of the evening. All the guests told me that this was the best party that they had ever attended in their lives, and I have to agree! One final thank you goes to Pure Marketing and Media. They helped promote the party all across the country and we are so thankful for their help.”
