Hunger Action Month (September), led by Feeding America, is a nationwide effort to
mobilize the public in the fight against hunger in America. Hunger is a growing threat among the working and newly unemployed families across the nation. In Orange County alone, one in six residents are at risk of going hungry every month due to the high cost of living and the current economic climate.
