Sept. 13, 2009 - PRLog -- Cigar tourism is gaining in popularity as cigar enthusiasts travel to cigar factories and tobacco farms around the world to observe the processes for creating premium cigars and enjoying the local sightseeing and culture.  CigarTourism.com and DogWatch Cigar Radio are pleased to announce that they have partnered to offer a unique opportunity in January 2010 to meet legendary cigar-makers located around Estelí, Nicaragua.

The public is invited to participate in a 5-day and 4-night (January 10 - January 14, 2010) "Expedition: Esteli" adventure in the famous cigar fields and factories of scenic Estelí, Nicaragua. Colin Ganley, owner of CigarTourism.com,  will lead the group through the legendary rolling rooms, factories and fields. Dale Roush and Bob McDuffee, owners and co-hosts of Dogwatch Cigar Radio, will host events and activities throughout the trip. Bob McDuffee says that "this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit as many factories as one would normally take a lifetime to see.  Expedition:Esteli 2010 is the premier cigar travel experience of 2010."

“We are excited to be partnering with Colin Ganley and utilizing his travel experience and close relationships within the cigar industry to provide an exceptional experience for cigar enthusiasts," says Dale Roush.    The group will visit five of the world's top cigar factories near Estelí, Nicaragua where premium brands such as Drew Estate, Padron, Pepin Garcia, Oliva, Tatuaje, San Cristobal, La Aroma de Cuba, EO brands 601, Cubao, NUB, Cain, Nosotros, Nestor Miranda Special Selection, Joya de Nicaragua and many others are made. In addition to the factories, the group will visit Pepin Garcia's tobacco fields full of tall tobacco plants being harvested and will have the opportunity to ask questions about, and photograph the entire process.

The package price for this adventure is $510 and includes all ground transportation in Nicaragua, a hosted reception and dinner in Managua on the first night while staying at the famous Camino Real Hotel. Additionally, all breakfasts and lunches, rum and cigar tasting events and a special traveler’s gift bag worth over $100 for each participant are inclusive. A banquet will be provided on the last evening of the trip for the trip participants and leading cigar-makers in Estelí.  Colin Ganley believes that the trip package will be well received by cigar enthusiasts.   "There is not another cigar travel package offered today that gives the participant so much access to so many cigar factories for this price.  This trip is an outstanding value because of  its premier accommodations, access to legendary cigar manufacturers and numerous educational opportunities for the cigar enthusiast."  Travelers are being asked to reserve their places on this trip as early as possible. Seats are limited and payment must be received no later than November 20, 2009.  Each participant will be responsible for airfare.  For more trip information visit  http://cigartourism.com/.
