ALEXOR - the new 2-way wireless security suite from DSC – makes its debut at Home Security Store!

Sept. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- Home Security Store is proud to present the Alexor, a new 2-way wireless security system from DSC which sets the standard for all others.  Unlike most wireless alarm systems on the market today, the Alexor has a control panel which is completely separate from the keypad, yet still wireless allowing for greater protection and a quick installation.  With the Alexor you can mount the panel - that is the brains of your system - in a secure location within the home that is out of sight and away from main access areas where a typical all-in one wireless keypad, control panel, and siren would normally be, and where it has the potential of being found and ripped off by an intruder.

In addition, the Alexor can incorporate up to four wire-free keypads including a new table mount keypad, and the system can also incorporate up to four sirens.  The Alexor also supports GSM and IP communications, which means even if your power goes out or your phone line is cut you’ve got the back-up you need for the panel to still call out to your monitoring station.

Furthermore, the Alexor LCD keypad is small in size, but loaded in features such as -

    • 32 characters
    • 8 languages
    • clock programming
    •l ight sensor
    • illuminated keys
    • temperature display (work in conjunction with a wireless outdoor siren)

The Alexor keypad also has multiple door chimes, which allow for pre-programmed chimes to identify specific zones such as your front door, patio door, or even pool gate.  Plus, even though it is wire-free, if the keypad is tampered with or the power fails, the keypad’s off-line status will immediately signal the panel and the system will instantly go into alarm mode.  The Alexor system also works with a proximity tag and or a wireless 2-way keyfob with icon display.
