CDS Question Papers: How to crack them

The CDS examination is a common entrance test for those aspiring a career in the field of Defense Services. This test is conducted to get admission into the navy, army and Air Force. A large number of students appear in the CDS exams every year due to having an extreme passion to safeguard their country. The candidates have to go through the written test and personal interview for selecting as a national defense officer.
As we know that the Indian armed forces is one of the largest forces all over the world offering a healthy work environment for the youth. The people who have a patriotic passion to save their country go for defense services. The candidates can go for defense services through two exams – the National Defense Academy Exam and the Combined Defense Services Exam. Those pursuing or have completed their 10+2 can appear for NDA exams (http://education.latestt.com/questionpapers/qpdetails.asp...), while the CDS exams are for those who are going to complete their graduation or have completed. One of the strongest tools that helps candidates to compete in the examination are the previous year's CDS exam question papers (http://education.latestt.com/questionpapers/qpdetails.asp...).
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the CDS exams (http://education.latestt.com/questionpapers/qpdetails.aspx?CatId=114&CatName=CDS-Exam-Question-Papers) twice a year for recruiting candidates to navy, army and air force. This exam is being held for admission to the Indian armed forces in the month of May and October. In the next stage, the Services Selection Board calls all those who clear the written examination for an Intelligence and Personality Test. Like other competitive exam question papers, CDS exam question papers can not be cleared easily until you are not given your hundred per cent during the preparation of these exams. After cracking this exam, candidates are eligible for getting admission into one of the four widely-renowned defense institutions of the country.
(a) Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
(b) Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad
(c)Naval Academy, Goa
(d) Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
If the candidate wants to appear for the Naval Academy, he should be B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent is essential for appearing in IMA/OTA.
For Air Force Academy: The candidates must have a degree with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects. The students who have a degree of Bachelor of Engineering are also allowed to appear for giving the entrance test for Air Force Academy.
Age:
For IMA: The unmarried candidates whose age is between 19-24 years on 1st January or 1st July are allowed to fill the entrance form for getting admission into IMA.
For Air Force Academy: The unmarried candidates whose age is between 19-23 years on 1st January or 1st July are allowed to fill the entrance form for getting admission into the Air Force Academy.
For Naval Academy: The unmarried candidates whose age is between 19-22 years on 1st January or 1st July are allowed to fill the entrance form for getting admission into the Naval Academy.
For Officers Training Academy: The male candidates (married or unmarried) whose age is between 19-25 years on 1st January or 1st July are allowed to fill the entrance form for getting admission into the Naval Academy.
There are 40 centers across the country where the CDS examination is held. The selection procedure of the candidates is based on their score in the following stages.
(a) Written Examination
(b) Interview and personality Test: After clearing the written examination, the Service Selection Board calls the candidate to judge his interpersonal skills. If the candidate is selected on the basis of both tests in the merit list ranking then he/she is sent to one of the four institutes.
