An Enchanting Story about a Curious and Precocious Pixie

Sept. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Faith is a beautiful little pixie with fiery red hair and a spirit to match.

She’s never quite fit in with the pixies in her Windhill Tree home—she’s even tinier than the others and she has a freckle-sprinkled nose!

While all the other pixies are playing, flitting here and there, Faith is dreaming of what it would be like to be in the human world.  Breaking away from the group to spy on teenagers in a nearby campground, she finds a special affinity to one of the teenage girls.  Why, the girl looks almost like her, but in human form.

Faith breaks the Pixie rule: never get too close to humans, but she simply can’t help herself.  Her brother, Frizzle, learns of her becoming more and more involved in spying on the teenagers and tells their Dad.  Dad has no choice but to ban Faith from attending the biggest, most spectacular, special Pixie event of the year at Windhill Tree.

If that’s not bad enough, Sam, the Pixie’s human twin discovers Faith.  This is unheard of in the Pixie community and now Faith must find her way back home.  But can she, and will her leap of faith in another prove to be a good one or will Faith be forever in limbo—between the pixie and the human world?

Sabine’s delightful story inspires pre-teens and teens to believe in the beauty of their dreams, to have faith in their decisions, and to step outside the boundaries of the ordinary to discover something that just may prove to be magical, wonderful and extraordinary.
