San Francisco Celebrates Bay Bridge Closure & Burning Man Exodus with Alcohol & Grilled Cheese

and at the Makeout Room at 3225 22nd St, DJ Foodcourt & friends be celebrating the bridge shut down and the fact that all those sand ravers are heading off to their Black Rock desert pilgrimage, leaving more open bar stools for the rest of us. DJ Foodcourt will celebrate with free grilled cheese sandwiches prepared by celebrity Heavyweight Champion George Foreman's grill, tons of tunes, and titillatingly tall tales and other intellectually bankrupt blather around the long wooden bar.

aka Parker Gibbs, aka known as your annoying host, is the soiree's creator, it's resident genius, it's potential insurance risk and it's known troublemaker with an oversized ego. His long list of poorly planned unecessary elective surgery procedures, disastrous personal life with many well documented public meltdowns & blow ups, have all been enthralling tabloid readers for years. Having survived numerous plane, train, boat & car crashes, not too mention interventions, rehabs and relapses and a slew of embarrassing shoplifting arrests, he's literally refused to go away & die and this has made him America's most entertaining record collector nerd and super celebrity DJ. He rules very hard and loves each and every one of you. He also gets paid a hefty & unreasonably large percentage of the bar, so for the love of god please come out and support his flights of fancy.

legend. He's a Real Life Roadie, A Rebel, A DIY guru (he knows Ian Mckaye! and Dick Vitale!) and is a musical sh*tstorm of worthless knowledge. He shut down GMail across the U.S. this week for an hour because he needed the excess bandwidth to download rare Charlatans UK & Warren Smith mp3's because the other 100,000 songs in his iTunes apparently isnt enough. In his spare time he likes to sleep in my nightshirt pocket and dream of being tall enough to see the moon.

DJ Luv-N-Stuff

aka Tom Galbraith is drummer for the power trio The
Blank Stares. In his spare time he enjoys pointing and laughing at
things and cataloging his collection of antique doll hair. He has been
in many San Francisco bands over the years and will talk endlessly ad
nauseumly about every goddamn one of them. He now resides in Walnut
Creek with his wife and small children where he works at the Record
Factory on North Main Street when not bartending at WPLJ's.
