Follow on Google News | Music for Medicine Benefit ConcertThe Music for Medicine Benefit Concert is hosted by The Corner Cone Dairy Bar & Grill, Yellow Springs Ohio. Saturday, September 12,2009 11 am to 9 pm 10 area musicians/bands will take the stage.
By: The Luke Commission The free outdoor benefit concert will feature 10 Dayton area musicians, covering a wide array of musical genera's. Listeners from 9 months to 99 years will be entertained with the sounds of classical guitar, Americana, Celtic, folk, comedy, pop, classic rock and roll, and more. Volunteers will be on hand to share the TLC mission, to answer visitor questions, and to discuss upcoming local TLC events. The Corner Cone Dairy Bar & Grill will also donate $1 to The Luke Commission for every REGULAR ice cream cone sold during the event. Musical Itinerary: 11 am Full Circle 12 pm FOG 1 pm Blueboy 2 pm Bettina Solas 3 pm Kaleb & Mike 4 pm Windblown 5 pm Herb & Fil 6 pm Smilin' Gray 7 pm Six Cents 8 pm Peggy Welty 100% of regular cone donations and donations at the TLC table will directly benefit current TLC bush clinics! # # # The Luke Commission is a Christian medical mission serving remote regions in southern Africa. We take our mobile medical clinic to rural villages, schools, churches, chief's kraals, and orphan care points and offer free medical care, free medications, free HIV testing and counseling, free vision care, free eyeglasses, free Bibles and the Hope of the Gospel.
