Name Badges - Why do our Staff Wear them?

Sept. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Research conducted on behalf of Signal Advantage New research commissioned by Signal Advantage shows that good customer service can be as simple as wearing a name badge.

The omnibus survey found that for blue-chip companies like British Airways, fcuk, and Pizza Hut – if their staff wear badges they will be more favoured by shoppers than those that don’t.  According to Graham Budinger, Commercial Director at Signal Advantage, “Businesses operating in a customer facing environment should take note. Where retail stores opt for a no uniform policy or the customer contact invariably requires, aprofessionally designed badge will be greatly appreciated by the consumer, putting them at ease and making your service personable”.

Discovering that something as simple as a badge has such an effect in establishing consumer comfort is an extremely helpful piece of research for the retail industry”.
