Mignarda Lute Song Duo wins JPF Best Album Award

Sept. 1, 2009 - PRLog -- The 2006 release "Divine Amarillis:  Airs De Court 1570-1640" by American lute song duo Mignarda (Ron Andrico & Donna Stewart)  has won first place as best album in the category of Classical Voice/Opera Solo in the 2009 Just Plain Folks Awards.

Selected from a pool of 42,000 albums in 96 genres, "Divine Amarillis" features the haunting and lovely tunes of the early 17th century French court., and has been critically acclaimed in the US and abroad.  

Mignarda will release their 6th CD, "Au Pres de Vous" in a few weeks.
