CriticalPoint Launches New Interactive USP 797 Gap Analysis Tool

In June 2008, the USP Sterile Compounding Committee published a revised Chapter 797 Pharmaceutical Considerations - Sterile Preparations. The web-based interactive tool provides a summary compliance score based on a series of questions extracted from the USP chapter.

The tool is easy to use and based on the responses to the questions, a site specific action plan report will be generated that will allow the user to address the opportunities for improvement identified by the gap analysis tool.  In addition to the action plan, the tool will generate documentation that can be used with pharmacy or organizational management as well as State Board of Pharmacy inspectors or accreditation surveyors.
