Aug. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Four years ago we bought a large plot of land, with spectacular views, above the pretty little village of Guajar Alto between Granada and the Mediterranean coast in Andalucia, Southern Spain. On the land was a small house of only 50 square metres. We extended the house, surrounded it with terraces, put in a swimming pool, built a garage/ workshed, revived the olive trees and made a vegetable garden.

Now, with regret, we need to sell our property and move on. The credit crunch has hit us badly and, although we have no mortgage, we have to raise some money to invest in our business to keep us going. We have put the property on the market at the very cheap price of 295,000 euros to encourage a quick sale. You will not find a comparable property at this price in the region.

A superb country house with private swimming pool set in 32,000 sq. metres of olive groves and woodland just 5 minutes from the village of Guajar Alto and 30 minutes from the coast at Motril and Salobreña.
With breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, valley and village from its surrounding terraces this is probably the finest country house in Guajar Alto.
The accommodation comprises lounge with large fireplace, kitchen/diner with living area and patio doors to terrace and BBQ area, 2 bedrooms including one very large double with patio doors to the pool area, bathroom with jacuzzi bath, shower room and separate utilty/washroom.

Above the house is a large olive grove which yielded 1,800 kilos this year. There are also vines along the drive and a few other fruit and almond trees.
Below the house is a vegetable garden providing produce for the kitchen all the year around.
At the top corner of the land is an old ruin and quarry. The ruin was once used as a corral for animals.
Below the house running down to the village is a large area of woodland and a flat terrace of land which is ideal for keeping animals or planting out with fruit trees. This property is suitable for keeping a few horses.
The house is approved as a vivienda unafamiliar (family house) by the Junta de Andalucia.
