Small Business Holiday Parties On A Teeny Budget: An Innovative Approach!

Thursday, December 10, between 3:00 and 11:30pm, Demers is hosting a Small Business Holiday Bash.  The banquet venue is going to open its doors to several companies who wish to have an elegant holiday party but don’t have the funds for a hall.  

“Believe it or not, we are getting many calls from companies looking for party space for 15, 30 people.  They want something ‘nice’, and restaurants don’t quite have the atmosphere and flexibility they desire for the holidays,” says Demers’ manager Marina Kislyuk.  “We came up with this idea to give them that, while allowing them to take advantage of the economy of scale larger businesses enjoy." For companies with over 50 employees, Demers Holiday Package will be a great fit.


Companies who pre-book will only pay $35 per person, which is down from over $100 per guest they would spend on a private banquet.  Children 7 to 12 years old eat for $15, and 6 and under for free.  All size parties are welcome, whether they’re two or a hundred.  

The family-friendly event will feature festive decorations, a delicious buffet menu, music and entertainment, and a large dance floor.  

Guests will enjoy the benefits of a hall at the price of a restaurant table.  In addition, there will be no time limit, and guests will save money by bringing in their own wine.  

“It’s a pilot idea.  If demand is higher than we anticipate, we will reserve additional dates to accommodate it!  We want everyone to feel comfortable,” says Ms. Kislyuk.  “As a family-owned business, we are infinitely more flexible than corporate banquet halls and hotels.”
