UK Recession Brings Out The Next Generation of Businesses

Aug. 27, 2009 - PRLog -- The word of the year for 2009 has been 'recession' with more companies axing jobs and production than every before. To some people this spells doom and gloom, but on the lighter side of things those people out of work are turning their talents to start up the next generation of businesses that offers hope and opportunity to others.

A1 Mirrors Ltd began life early 2009 and offers bespoke mirrors services to business and individuals as well as a wide range of ready-made mirrors for the home.  The business is ran by two partners who over the years have provided 1st class customer service and looked after some high profiled, blue chip companies in their careers. Not everyone is immune to the recession so with a few scares and a redundancy both decided to create something to safe-guard their futures as well as provide jobs for others.

Richard Adams, Sales Director of A1 Mirrors Ltd says 'Within the first month of trading the response and support we received from other businesses was fantastic and without them we may not be as far as we originally planned. However we mustn't forget about the individuals who have purchased a product from us for use in their home. This has allowed us to really show our customer service skills and build on our customer base'
