Aug. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- Dianne Mandal brings to the world, She Was Ylian, a 250-page novel, with a message – death can happen to young people too, this December.

A blossoming career, reunion with a lost love, and close relationship with her sisters – among the many reasons she can’t accept she’s already dead. So on the same day she died, she was sent to a place (not yet in Heaven), with the goal – learn to let go and leave the entire earthly burden. Joined by fellow dead Micah and Afriel, and a thousand others, Ylian journeys Paninap for forty days until they all learned to accept their sad fate and finally ready to live eternal life in Heaven. Another dilemma she’s faced with – to erase the memory of her only love and accept the eternal love being offered by a fellow dead.

“I wrote this so the young people may know, life has its limits. I feel that they (we, including myself) have become so lax with life that we tend to ignore more valuable things such as family, friends, and togetherness. I did that in an entertaining way,” said Mandal when asked of the importance of reading her new novel. “I gave Ylian and the others, a new life. So they’re dead, but they continue to feel, mingle, and love.”
