Even celebrities cannot escape the cancer curse. There are also a lot of celebrities who have lost loved ones to cancer such as Angelina Jolie and Madonna who both lost their mothers to the disease, Paul McCartney who lost his first wife Linda to breast cancer, Brian Williams of NBC Nightly News who lost his mother to lymphoma and his sister to breast cancer. The list goes on and on….

Cancer has become on of the biggest threats to human lives and this disease has caused more deaths than all of the world wars combined. Every 60 seconds someone dies from cancer – and that is just in the USA!

Someone, somewhere in the world is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes! That is a shocking statistic! It is because of this that celebrities like Meryl Streep, Lance Armstrong, Charlize Theron, Hillary Swank and a host of other big names banded together in a one hour TV special titled “Stand Up 2 Cancer” to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

While one must applaud these celebrities for standing up for what they believe in, the problem with raising funds for cancer however that the funds does not go towards research that CURES cancer. The American Cancer Society has been in business for 95 years and in that time there has been almost no progress made in the curing of this deadly disease. As a matter of fact,  the incidence of this disease has been GROWING exponentially in the last couple of decades.

Tens of billions of dollars have been put into the research of cancer, and yet there is still a 41 percent chance of any individual developing cancer in their lifetime and maybe dying from it.

One has to ask yourself why all the billions of dollars that have been raised to research and eradicate cancer, has been FUTILE so far.

It seems that there is some conflict between the research being done and conflicts of interests with the pharmaceutical industry, the pesticide industry, and the mammography industry which indicates that all is not well with the spending of the funds. These billions of dollars is mainly spent on educating the public on the merits of the three most popular conventional cancer therapies which includes surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy rather than being spent on actual research.

75 % of  doctors included in a poll by Oncologist Dr. Tullio Simoncini stated that if they were ever struck by cancer, they would refuse chemotherapy because of its devastating side effects and due to its ineffectiveness in curing cancer.

The medical journal, Clinical Oncology, puclished an article in 2004 in which it was shown that chemotherapy was only succesful in 2% of all the cancer cases – which means that it failed in 98%!

So in the end it does not matter how much money one raises for the research of cancer if it does not get funneled in the right direction. Spending money on curing the symptoms of cancer instead of the root cause will always be a losing proposition.

The problem with “curing cancer” or any disease for that matter is that it has become over complicated, invasive and expensive.  More often the procedures involved o more harm than good and the procedures are normally aimed more at the symptoms than the cause of the disease.

Will there ever be anything that will be able to really cure this devasting disease called cancer?

However, what the author of this book does not reveal, is that the cure described in the 1 Minute Cure is information that has been readily available on the Internet for almost as long as the Internet has been in existence.
