Moon will be in Virgo on Monday:

One day after the beginning of Ganesha Chaturthi,Monday market predictions show the market will look optimistic. The start will be cautious and in the middle phase the index may dip a bit but will gain strength towards the end.

Moon will transit in Libra on Tuesday:

Global cues may affect the market on Tuesday. The effects are likely to remain negative. Selling pressure will affect the index towards the closing hours.

Moon will remain in Libra on Wednesday:

Trading will start on a cautious note followed by slow rise in the morning hours. The market may turn speculative towards the middle. It will stabilize at logical levels towards the close.

Moon will transit in Scorpio on Thursday:

The market will remain hung on the wheels of fortune today witnessing ups and downs. The sentiment will remain largely negative and the index may close at lower level.

Moon will remain in Scorpio on Friday:

Downslide may continue in the morning hours. However,towards the close there can be some upward movement.


The sensex trading closed at 15411.63 on 14th August 2009. However, on Monday 17th August 2009 SENSEX sank by more than 626 points due to global cues and drought concerns. On Friday 21st August 2009 the index closed at 15240.83.Thus the index lost 170.80 points or about 1.11% during the last week.


The coming week will also not see any euphoria in the market because drought situation is more serious than was expected. The general sentiment will remain low but optimistic.


No major transit is taking place during the coming week. The only relevant transit that can affect the market is transit of Venus on 22nd August 2009. This transit can help stocks of the IT sector.
