FASHION for a Cause: SACHIKA introduces jewelry line and supports the JACK and JILL Foundation.

Aug. 15, 2009 - PRLog -- New York, NY – On Thursday, August 20, at 10:30 p.m., NYC’s newest fashion line, SACHIKA – “For The Modern Woman”, will host an exclusive fashion and charity event at ONE little West 12, located at 1 Little West 12th Street in NYC.

“This stylish and hip venue in the heart of Manhattan’s meatpacking provides a perfect   venue for an event to introduce New York trend-setting fashionistas to SACHIKA’s jewelry line, along with its timeless dresses,” say To-Tam and To-Nya Ton-Nu, founders and designers of the label. “The beauty of our dresses resides in simplicity and therefore our dresses can easily be accessorized to suit any occasion. This jewelry line is just the perfect addition to our core pieces.”

Guests receiving exclusive invitations to “ From Day to Night” event will enjoy an incredible evening of social networking, cocktails, red carpet, unwinding and unmatched music by renowned DJ from Montreal: Lyle Quach. At the same occasion, SACHIKA will do a special presentation of the Jack and Jill Foundation, a non-profit organization they chose to support. The Foundation supports programs that not only create opportunities and challenges for children to learn and practice leadership skills, but also build leadership character in youth. The ultimate goal of every Foundation grant dollar is to empower young people to make the right life choices. “We want to take fashion to the next level! We are not only here to empower women but also to help children better themselves. We want to help as much as we can as children are the future!” say the SACHIKA twins. SACHIKA will be supporting The Jack and Jill Foundation by accepting donations made to the foundation via a simple text message powered by Mobile Matters (www.mobilematters.org).

The highlight of the event will be the spectacular runway show, hosted by Thalia Patillo from Channel 11, which will feature SACHIKA’s new jewelry line paired with their timeless dresses. The show will feature models showing-off looks with the anticipated line of jewelry for this fall from SACHIKA. “We want to demonstrate that the same SACHIKA dress can be worn from Day to Night.”
