Garmin has introduced the Garmin Zumo 660, a GPS designed for bikers by bikers. It's one of the few motorcycle-specific portable navigation devices available on the market. This device provides technical specifications like Bluetooth connectivity for reception of spoken GPS directions through headsets.

Featuring a bright 4.3-inch touchscreen color display, this gadget puts all the information that users need in an easy-to-read format as they travel down the road. This navigator also has a glove-friendly possessing interface that makes entering information as easy as shifting gears. In addition, the wide sunlight-readable display offers for easy navigation -- whether riding on during a bright day or a moonless night. This device sports a sleeker design similar to the Garmin Nuvi series but has a rugged waterproof casing.

Moreover, this navigator’s internal antenna is integrated with a highly sensitive receiver. Although, it has an internal solid state memory, it provides microSD card compatibility that can be used to increase the memory capacity. It includes the base map of Europe and provides the facility to add more maps. It allows you to save 1000 waypoints and 20 preplanned routes. The major landmarks and buildings are displayed in 3D formats. Routes can be calculated for multiple destinations in one go.

Additionally, this navigator has multimedia features that include an MP3 player and a picture viewer. Thus this GPS unit can be converted into a portable music player and photo viewer while users are not using it for navigational purposes. With many more features, this GPS plays an effective role for bikers who travel long distances to unknown places.
