Dawn T. Mangham Launches Blacke Dawne Website and Online Publication, The Dawngeon.

Aug. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- Dawn T. Mangham officially launches her website and OpenZine dedicated to her alter ego, Blacke Dawne. Both promise to explore the darker side of the human psyche.

The emergence of Blacke Dawne has been years in the making. Once just a stage name to explain a range of musical tastes and ideas, the concept grew into the opportunity to approach life from a sometimes brutal perspective and get to the real heart of pertinent issues. “With her sarcasm, rage and abrasiveness she seeks to bring light to the masses. Through darkness she attempts to bring about a new aurora of consciousness.”

The Blacke Dawne website, located at http://blackedawne.ning.com, went online in March 2009, without fanfare or attention. The intent was to make sure that certain aspects of the site were in place before making it completely open to the public. The OpenZine publication, The Dawngeon, arose from the need to creatively advertise the website. With both elements solidly in tact, the official launch was inevitable.

The Dawngeon is planned as a monthly online periodical that will feature content from the mind of Blacke Dawne, as well as spotlights on artists, influences, friends and associates. It will run in conjunction with changing content on the Blacke Dawne website. The intent is to give the reader a better understanding of who Blacke Dawne is, what she thinks and what she respects. Readers will be entertained, enlightened and provoked to thought.

Dawn T. Mangham is cohost for “That’s My Word” Radio Show which is owned and created by Visions in Motions Productions, LLC. and broadcasts live on BlogTalkRadio.com. She is also a singer/songwriter and voiceover artist.
