July 31, 2009 - PRLog -- Rosie is ready for tomorrow's World Hen Racing Championships and is racing for RABI a charity for farming families in need.

She was looking on fine fettle on the gallops this morning.  Connections are quietly confident she may actually move during the race tomorrow. Rosie will be dining on seedless white grapes and pasta before the big event at Bonsall 1 August 2009.

Her trainer speaks on behalf of her four year old owner:

"She's a real star & has her own promotional video following her progress from the egg."

"It's really egg-citing to be part of a world class event held in the Peak District.  If anyone is looking for an alternative to running marathons - training hens can be done from the armchair."

"Her owner has worked closely with me to get the best out of this plucky young bird - the time she's spent cycling around on her stabiliser-bike encouraging Rosie are to her credit."
