Follow on Google News | New Fundraising Organization Save Point to Play Final Fantasy VII to Raise Money for CharityStarting August 6, members of the new organization Save Point will play the classic video game Final Fantasy VII for four days to raise money for the Child's Play charity.
By: Save Point Our first marathon will begin on Thursday August 6, 2009 and is expected to last approximately 100 hours. We will be playing a complete run of the classic video game Final Fantasy VII, completing all optional quests and maximizing all characters' levels. The charity we will be raising money for is Child's Play (www.childsplaycharity.org) Players will include: David Houck, actor, student at Collin County Community College, and founder of Save Point; Will Menzies, student at Collin County Community College and co-founder of Save Point; Coleman Roughton, actor and student at Oklahoma City University; and Britton Peele, author, journalist, and student at Texas Tech University. While Save Point does not have an official website as of yet, more information is available on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ # # # Save Point is a new organization devoted to raising money for deserving charities world wide through video game marathons.
