Grip-Tite Announces New Dealer Development Director

July 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Grip-Tite Manufacturing Co., LLC is pleased to announce that Nicholas J. (Nick) Farkas has joined the company as Director of Dealer Development. He will begin his duties on August 3, 2009.

Nick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University
of Phoenix. He spent the past seven years as the Western Regional Manager for A.B. Chance Civil Construction Company. “Nick brings a great depth of understanding and knowledge about the structural repair industry to Grip-Tite. We are thrilled to have him on our team”, stated David Nicholl, Grip-Tite President. Some of Nick’s job responsibilities as the A.B. Chance Western Region Manager included being responsible for over $12M in annual sales through the distribution and dealer network in AK, WA, OR, CA, HI, AZ, NV, NM, TX, OK, CO, UT, WY, ID, and MT. Nick traveled extensively throughout the region working with distribution personnel
recruiting new dealers and provided all of the sales and installation training certifications and bi-annual renewals. informational presentations to key industry groups, engineering firms, developers and building code officials as well as providing support at trade shows, industry association meetings and seminars are all part of the experience Nick has had over the past decade.

From 1990-2001, Nick held sales and marketing positions during his eleven year employment with Hilti, Inc. Nick worked his way into the Western Regional Sales Manager and Civil Construction Specialist at the Hilti Corporation. From the early 1980’s until 1990 Nick worked throughout the USA as a Marketing and Sales Representative with BeA Fasteners, Inc. of New
Jersey. “Providing job site support and working with dealer/ installers within the Grip-Tite Dealer Network to identify new market, product, and application opportunities will be a major
focus for 2009 and beyond” Nicholl said. Nick is actively involved with youth soccer and has served as both a coach and referee since 1990 and serves on the board of American Youth Soccer Assn. for Region 5 in CA. He enjoys cooking at home for family and friends. He is a member of the Deep Foundations Institute and the CA Geotechnical Engineer Assn.
