July 24, 2009 - PRLog -- Florence Welch, better known alongside her band as Florence & the Machine, is a former Camberwell Art School student. Musically, Florence and the Machine's sound are generally referred to as soul inspired indie.

“Lungs” is a debut album for this atypical English pop group that has a collection of songs that runs the scope of genres, ranging from unstoppable rock to slick blues inspired ballads teaming with moody electronic bangers. The singles are undeniably the standouts. The impressive track -- "Dog Days Are Over" is sensitive and fierce. Next is a slightly more reserved track -- "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)" leads her debut collection to be a glorious and awesome material. Next track -- "I'm not calling you a Liar" is a subject on adult contemporary territory which is potentially quite affecting.

After this track is "Howl" -- this seems to be more disco and more bombastic. The mind-blowing “Kiss with a Fist” comes as light relief mid-album, its skeletal blues stomp left unchanged from its original incarnation. This is followed by "Girl with One Eye" is another early recording that has a barbarous, green-eyed lyrics supported by a production revamp that includes an almighty crescendo. Other humorous songs like "Between Two Lungs", the daft "My Boy Builds Coffins" and the ferocious "Hurricane Drunk" adds glory to the album.

The concluding track -- "You’ve Got the Love" that is given as a bonus track, comes as a welcome chance to get one’s breath back.  In short, this album is the most brilliant debut albums to come out after a long time. For details, visit: http://www.latestchoice.com/latest-music/latest-new-album...
