July 21, 2009 - PRLog -- After listening to your feedback, and after completing an in-house analysis of the services that we offer, St. Paul’s ( http://www.stpaulsacademy.com ) recognizes the need to narrow the scope of its student profile.  Therefore, in our efforts to provide the highest quality of service to your clients, our families, and our students, St. Paul’s has already begun its transition by taking the following action:

·   We are returning to our roots, and where our passion is, by narrowing our student profile to students who may turn to substances or other acting out behaviors because their personal, emotional, and/or academic needs are not being met.

·   In emails to come, we will further explain the steps we are taking to increase the quality of the services we are providing, including additional services, to meet these students’ needs, at no additional cost.

In our efforts to narrow our student profile, we realize the need to step up our program components for our students who have a substance use history.  Thus, in order to provide top notch services to meet the needs of your clients, our families, and our students, St. Paul’s Academy is taking the following action:

·   12-step philosophies will be incorporated into the requirements to move up each level in the St. Paul’s Knighthood.  The Knighthood will become the level system that students must move up in order to graduate from our program component within the Academy (more to come on this in Step 8).

·   We will begin offering daily, evening 12-step meetings that students will be required to attend a minimum of 4 times per week.

·   We will offer daily, required, morning seminars that will provide students with insight into areas of 12-step concepts like:  philosophy, ethics, prayer, and meditation.

·   We will offer daily, required, evening seminars that will provide students with insight into why they began using substances, like:  self-esteem, teen issues, study skills, family relationships, etc.

·   We are presently in the process of hiring a full-time Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor.

As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please call us at 602-956-9090, or contact us from our website http://www.stpaulsacademy.com
