Its sister publication, Vitamin Retailer magazine, has long recognized the best-selling products in the dietary supplement industry with its annual “Vity Awards”. According to Kate Quackenbush, editor in chief, "we decided it was high time to bestow the same recognition on the top organic products." The awards are based upon a national survey of OPR’s organic retailer readership. Since its introduction in 1988, Seven Stars Organic Plain Yogurt has enjoyed a loyal and growing band of fans. It is produced in small batches on the farm using only unhomogenized organic whole milk and yogurt cultures. No artificial flavors, thickeners or dried milk are added.
