July 20, 2009 - PRLog -- Highland Homes is sponsoring a contest through the month of July on Facebook to see which model home at the Greens of Hidden Creek is more appealing to buyers. To submit an entry, visit the Highland Homes Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/highlandhomes and write which model home is more appealing to buyers on the wall of the page. Specific details about which features of the model worked the best and the worst are encouraged. All entries will be registered to win $100 gift card.
Both of the models at the Greens were decorated by Stacey Antonakos-Perez, the Highland Homes Selection Studio Manager. Stacey used her artistic ability and creative sense to design two model homes that visitors will remember.
The primary model at the Greens is the Monroe model, which is gaining popularity quickly in all Highland Homes communities. Stacey Antonakos-Perez decorated this model as well and this home is another success. She uses bold colors to appeal to buyers, with decorative touches throughout the home that make this model a home. It offers three bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage, open family room to kitchen and large, master suite with a luxury bath and a screened, covered lanai. This floor plan is just over 1,600 square feet.
The Treymore model is a two story home with 2,677 square feet of living space with a first floor master suite, offering large walk in closets, a double vanity, separate shower and deep, soaking tub. Downstairs is an open living/dining room combo, a spacious kitchen that is open to the family room with a screened, covered lanai providing access to the master suite and family room. Upstairs is the bonus room and three secondary bedrooms, one with a walk-in closet, and two full baths.
The Greens of Hidden Creek, featuring Wesley Chapel new homes, is now open and showcasing the “Green” home with the most innovative energy related products a home can have.  Highland Homes used the name of the community to present their green product line which features exterior and interior green related features. The green built Florida new homes feature double pane, low-E glass, insulated foam wall block, R-30 insulation, radiant barrier, 14 SEER Lennox air conditioning units for the first floor, Whirlpool Energy Star appliances, Delta water saver faucets and more (http://www.highlandhomes.org/community.php?cid=65). These energy-efficient features can save nearly 40% on monthly utility bills.
