July 20, 2009 - PRLog -- Interchangeable sandals are the brainchild of Tyla Lusk, owner of Studio Bella in Fort Myers, Florida. The concept was born during a frenzied pre-vacation packing experience in 1999. Faced with an anxious husband and a suitcase jammed with sandals, the self-proclaimed “flip flop junkie” realized “if I could just change the straps, this wouldn’t be a problem!”

In the years that followed, Tyla committed herself to design, development and patent. In 2004 “Tigerlily Interchangeable Sandals” were made available for retail and wholesale purchase. The design was patented in 2008.

Sandal styles are available in low, mid and high heel heights. Fabrics range from Asian brocades and animal prints; embellishments include everything from skulls and symbols to Austrian crystals and large gems.

True to her slogan of “One sandal - endless possibilities”, Tyla continues to work with manufacturers to exceed the desires of fashion-conscious shoe lovers with limited space and modest budgets.
