FIRST ELEMENT COMEDY FEST!! Featuring Comedians Steve Brown and Benji Brown

July 21, 2009 - PRLog -- LAFAYETTE, LA - The “First Element Comedy Fest” will deliver laughs to Lafayette on September 4, 2009 at The Heymann Performing Arts Center. Comedians Steve Brown, Benji Brown, Jermaine “Funny Maine” Johnson, and Howard Hall will give Lafayette some much needed laughter the night before the much anticipated 9th Annual Herbert Heymann Football Classic between The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Southern University.

As the City of Lafayette prepares to host a grand event like the Heymann Classic, we decided to give the area and our visitors a Comedy event equally as grand. This event will provide residents and visiting guests an opportunity to relax and enjoy the City with non-stop laughter from some of the funniest comedians from BET’s Comic View, P.Diddy’s Bad Boy’s of Comedy, Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, and Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam.

About Steve Brown: Widely recognized for his distinct high-pitched voice and his unpredictable high-energy physical antics. He has performed on Tom Joyner Morning Show, BET’s Comic View, P.Diddy’s Bad Boy’s of Comedy, Jamie Foxx’s Lafaaplooza, Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at the Apollo, Comics Unleashed With Byron Allen, Martin Lawrence`s 1st Amendment Comedy Series and worked alongside top comedians such as Eddie Griffin, Katt Williams, Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce, and Kevin Hart.
